Thoughts from the desk of Rick and Shana:
Shana and I are so thankful for our family, our friends and our health. What we have found to be exciting about our business is to watch and support our business partners grow their businesses. A very dear friend and mentor of ours always says, “There is no more noble occupation in the world than to assist another human being -- to help someone succeed."

Remember Valentine's Day
I wanted to get this newsletter out right away for because most guys (I mean you, men) need a little reminder about Valentine's Day. OK, this is 2012 - a new year - lets make it a memorable one. February 14 is Valentine's day so plan on doing something special for your sweetheart. Ladies, you might have to give your guy some ideas. If they are anything like me its not for the lack of wanting to do something great for you, it's more in the area of missing perfect ideas (or another way to say it - we need a little bit more training).
So that leads me to the BIG question. Can you do me a HUGE favor? You see, February 14th it is not only Valentines Day but it is Shana's half birthday and for some reason that is important to her. I never heard of half birthdays before I met her but I have been reminded and convinced that they do exist. So what I need help with is an idea that I can do for or with her to make Valentines Day and her half birthday be as special for her as she is to me. If you would just send me a quick email with your idea I would truly appreciate it. Thanks
FREE Coffee
I was talking with Shana and I mentioned that we have so many customers that order our coffee every single month. Thank You! But what about your friends? I know sometimes sharing something this good isn't always the first thing on your mind. Well, we are here to help you out. We would be delighted to send your friend a FREE sample of the coffee of their choice. All you need to do is pass on this link http://www.choosehealthyjava.com/ or this newsletter. Have them go to the products tab chose the coffee they would like to try. They need to send us their address and we will send out their FREE coffee samples right away. (And if you haven't tried our coffee, take this as an opportunity to request a free sample for yourself!) As my Kindergarten teacher always said "Sharing is Caring."

Our home-based business has been a gift to us - it allows us to meet and connect with wonderful, like-minded people. We've been able to help others start their own home-based business. We also have been able to create a special fund to do some of our home projects that we've been wanting to do for a long time – bathroom remodel, new driveway, and landscaping.
It is common for people get into home based businesses with the dream of a new home, extravagant vacations, and luxurious cars. For us, it's been much more about having a Plan B so we don't have to completely rely on our jobs for our income, and it's been about supporing others, and projects around our home, that we have wanted to do for a long time. And that means a lot to Shana and me.
We have been told whatever is motivating us – our “why” – it needs to be big enough to keep us going. Even though, through our business, we are so blessed and thankful for what we are able to do, our “BIG WHY” has to do with hearing stories like Martin Richards … about his motorcycle accident and how much severe pain he was in... well, let me have him tell you himself – he does a much better job than I'm able to. Just click on his picture below.

Yummy (and Gluten Free) Pizza
Ingredients:
· 4 eggs
· 1/3 cup (38 grams) coconut flour (sifted to remove any lumps)
· 1/3 cup (47 grams) flaxseed meal (I bought whole flaxseeds and put them through the food processor)
· 1/2 cup (4 oz) coconut milk (you can also use whole organic milk)
· Garlic powder, Dried Basil, Dried Oregano to taste
Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix all ingredients (except for the spices) until you have created a pancake-like batter.
Add in the spices to your taste. If you are a garlic lover, add more garlic. If you’re an oregano lover (like me) go crazy with the oregano.
Place parchment paper onto a cookie sheet and pour your batter into a round or rectangle shape on the parchment paper (shape is dependent on how you would like to make your pizza).
Bake on 1 side for 10 minutes. At the 10 minute mark, flip over the crust and bake for another 10 minutes (Using the parchment paper makes flipping it over and handling it much, much easier).
Now you are ready to add the toppings of your choice. I added tomato sauce, spinach and cooked chicken to mine. My husband had tomato sauce, cooked ground beef and raw cheese on his.
Place under the broiler for 60 seconds (especially if you want to melt the cheese).
This is definitely something we will be making at our house very often. Not only because it turned out delicious, but because it was super easy to make.
