Our home-based business has been a gift to us - it allows us to meet and connect with wonderful, like-minded people. We've been able to help others start their own home-based business. We also have been able to create a special fund to do some of our home projects that we've been wanting to do for a long time – bathroom remodel, new driveway, and landscaping.
It is common for people get into home based businesses with the dream of a new home, extravagant vacations, and luxurious cars. For us, it's been much more about having a Plan B so we don't have to completely rely on our jobs for our income, and it's been about supporting others to succeed, and doing projects around our home, that we have wanted to do for a long time. And that means a lot to Shana and me.
We have been told to find what is motivating us – our “why” – it needs to be big enough to keep us going us through those distractions. Our “BIG WHY” has to do with hearing stories like Martin Richards … about his motorcycle accident and how he … well, let me have him tell you himself – he does a much better job than I.
